Training for Non-Student Volunteers and Contractors

At a minimum, all non-student volunteers or contractors interacting with Western students, alumni, visitors, or retirees are to receive and become familiar with the summary brochure.

Leader Record Keeping: Brochure Training

Training records are to be kept as per AODA requirements.

Leaders are to keep electronic records of any AODA training completed that takes place outside of Western’s online module (this would include training of non-student volunteers, contractors, or other in-person training). Using Excel, record the person’s name, date of training, and employee ID number if applicable.  You will be asked to provide training records to Human Resources upon request.

Completion of online training will be recorded in the person’s Human Resource record.
